Preparation and Finishing

A professional finish begins with correct preparation. Our decorators assess each surface before filling cracks and holes, repairing minor damage, sanding, cleaning and applying suitable primers or sealers.

Previously painted walls, plaster, wood, metal, masonry and other surfaces are prepared according to their condition and the selected coating system. Water stains, mould, peeling paint and recurring cracks are investigated before decoration so underlying defects are not simply concealed.

Paints and finishes are selected according to appearance, durability, cleaning requirements, moisture exposure and expected levels of use.

Interior and Exterior Decorating

Interior decorating is available for offices, receptions, corridors, stairwells, communal areas, meeting rooms, retail spaces, schools, hotels and commercial washrooms.

Our exterior work covers rendered walls, masonry, doors, windows, metalwork, railings, soffits, fascias and other suitable building surfaces. Scaffolding or powered access can be coordinated where high-level areas cannot be reached safely.

Minimal Disruption

Decorating can be phased around occupied and customer-facing environments. Out-of-hours, evening and weekend working can be arranged where appropriate to reduce disruption.

Work areas are protected before decoration begins, with floors, furniture and retained fixtures covered as necessary. On completion, the area is inspected, cleaned and handed back ready for use.
