Planned for the Project

Every scaffold is planned around the building, work activity and required loading. Our surveys consider working heights, platform levels, ground conditions, access, material storage, public routes, vehicle movements, tie locations and surrounding structures.

Where a scaffold falls outside recognised standard arrangements, specialist design drawings and calculations can be coordinated before erection. Temporary roofs, cantilevers, suspended scaffolds, sheeted structures and heavily loaded platforms will commonly require specific design.

Roofing, Façade and Internal Access

Scaffolding can be configured for roofing, cladding replacement, cavity-barrier installation, brickwork, render, glazing, structural repairs and external decoration.

Internal scaffolds and birdcages provide access for ceilings, lighting, mechanical installations, fire protection and high-level finishing. Loading bays, stair towers and weather protection can be incorporated where required.

Occupied and Public Areas

Scaffolding around operational properties can include hoarding, pedestrian tunnels, protective fans, lighting, debris netting, restricted ladders and controlled access.

Out-of-hours erection or dismantling can be arranged where appropriate. Pavement or highway scaffolding may require licences, traffic management and local-authority approval.

Completed scaffolds are inspected before handover and at the required stages while in use. Alterations must only be completed by authorised scaffolding personnel.
