Investigation and Surveys

Visible damage is not always located at the source of a defect. Water can travel through cavities and insulation, while cracking may result from movement, corrosion, failed lintels or structural problems.

Our investigation-led approach can include condition surveys, moisture testing, controlled opening-up, façade inspections, defect mapping and structural-engineer coordination.

Existing drawings, fire information, asbestos records and previous repair details are reviewed where available before intrusive work begins.

Façade, Fire and Water Remediation

Façade works can include repairs to cladding, brickwork, render, concrete, sealants, fixings and window interfaces.

Fire-safety remediation covers fire stopping, compartment walls, cavity barriers, fire-rated construction and fire doors. Completed passive fire-protection work can be photographed, labelled and recorded.

Water-ingress repairs can address roofs, façades, windows, balconies, basements, expansion joints, gutters and drainage. Internal finishes are reinstated only after the source has been corrected and affected areas have dried sufficiently.

Structural Repairs

Structural works may include concrete repair, corrosion treatment, crack stitching, lintel replacement, wall-tie remediation, steel strengthening and impact-damage repairs.

Where a defect affects load-bearing elements, repairs are completed from appropriate structural design information.
